讲座简介:

This talk describes recent research on methods for systematically developing run-time reconfigurable designs for field-programmable devices such as FPGAs. An approach for analysing designs involving run-time reconfiguration will be presented, showing how the degree of parallelism in a reconfigurable design can influence reconfiguration time and performance. The extension of this approach for optimising energy consumption will be covered. The potential of adopting run-time reconfiguration for various applications, such as communication and computational finance, will be addressed.
