The School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) actively expands international exchange programs, encouraging students to study abroad and promoting the internationalization of talent cultivation through various channels such as through inter-school and inter-departmental exchange projects, summer school projects, research internship projects, joint training projects, and visits to renowned universities. the School of EECS has established joint undergraduate and graduate training programs with esteemed universities such as the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Cornell University, and the University of Edinburgh, and provides summer research internship programs with overseas universities such as Carnegie Mellon University, University of Chicago, and ETH Zurich. Each year, the school invites eminent professors to teach cutting-edge summer courses, ensuring that students are exposed to the latest developments in the field.  In addition, undergraduate students have the opportunity to visit prestigious universities in the UK and US through school international exchange programs. The universities involved include Stanford University, University of California, Berkeley, University of California, Los Angeles, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Yale University, Columbia University, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, and University of Edinburgh, among others. Over 35% of undergraduate students have participated in international exchange programs during their academic careers.

Furthermore, the School of EECS has established stable cooperative programs with leading computer science schools including Stanford University, University of California, Los Angeles, University of California, Berkeley, Cornell University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and University of Edinburgh, which have achieved a series of remarkable results. The students have made breakthroughs in the core technology fields of computer science and have published papers as the first authors in top international conferences and journals, winning numerous best paper awards. Graduates have obtained doctoral degrees from top-ranked universities in the US, or returned to China and joined prestigious universities such as Peking University and Tsinghua University as tenure-track professors, showcasing their outstanding performance in the early stages of their academic careers.
